Hosting

The website and the bot process are hosted on a virtual private server (VPS) provided by OVH, in Toulouse (France). See the "Hosting" section below for full details.

Intellectual property

The name "GoofyBot", its logo, and all graphical elements of the site are the property of its publisher, unless otherwise stated. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited. GoofyBot is not affiliated with Discord Inc. in any way; "Discord" is a registered trademark of Discord Inc.

Liability

The publisher strives to ensure the accuracy of the information published on the site but cannot guarantee the complete absence of errors or service interruptions. Use of the bot and site is at the user's own responsibility.

Purpose

GoofyBot is a Discord bot offering moderation modules, ticket management, an experience (XP) system, polls, giveaways, invite tracking, and other server management tools, along with a web dashboard to configure them.

Access and account

Access to the dashboard is exclusively via Discord authentication (OAuth2). No password is created or stored by GoofyBot. The user remains responsible for the security of their own Discord account.

Subscriptions and payment

GoofyBot offers three tiers: FREE, PRO, and ULTRA (paid, recurring billing). Payments are processed exclusively by Stripe; GoofyBot does not collect or store any banking data. A paid subscription can be cancelled at any time from the Stripe management portal, accessible from the Dashboard's Subscription page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the already-paid period, with no pro-rated refund unless required by law.

Acceptable use

The user agrees to use GoofyBot in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and applicable law. Any abusive use (bypassing technical limits, exploiting vulnerabilities, spam...) may result in restricted or suspended access.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be changed at any time; the version in effect is the one published on this page at the time the user connects.

Website and bot

The website (goofybot.xyz) and the Discord bot process are hosted on a virtual private server (VPS) provided by OVH, in its Toulouse (France) datacenter.

Database

Application data (server configurations, moderation logs, tickets, invite statistics, etc.) is stored in a MongoDB database hosted and managed by MongoDB Atlas.

Domain name

The domain name goofybot.xyz is registered with OVH.

Providers used

GoofyBot relies on two AI providers: OpenAI (first-level automatic moderation, ticket AI assistant replies, AI setup assistant) and Anthropic (in-depth contextual analysis for the deepest, level-3 moderation tier). Messages sent to these providers are processed according to their own respective privacy policies.

Scope of use

AI is only used within modules explicitly enabled by each server's administrators (moderation, tickets, setup assistant). Each use consumes a monthly quota tied to the server's subscription tier, visible on the Dashboard's Subscription page.
