Dev log
Everything we're building and fixing on GoofyBot, live — updated with every new release.
August 6, 2026
- Fixed a login bug that could cause you to lose access to your server list after a few days of using the Dashboard, with no clear error message — the session now refreshes automatically in the background.
- Full SEO audit: fixed a bug that made English pages reference their French equivalent as canonical, added missing tags to properly distinguish the two languages, and updated structured data and the sitemap.
August 5, 2026
- Fixed a bug that prevented uploaded images (welcome, goodbye, directory) from displaying on the bot's side — the generated link wasn't complete.
- Fixed: channels and roles excluded from moderation used to only exempt the classic filters (anti-spam/link), not the banned-words filter or AI moderation — the exclusion now applies to all filters.
August 4, 2026
- New discreet banner on the Dashboard that automatically detects an ongoing Discord outage — so you never mistake a real bot bug for a Discord-side incident.
- Direct image upload for customization (welcome, goodbye, directory) — no more relying on a slow or unreliable external image host.
- New setting to disable the AI moderation classifier independently from the advanced contextual analysis, in case of a false positive.
- Several behind-the-scenes robustness fixes: the database connection and ticket buttons/messages can no longer get silently stuck.
- New "My Subscription" page (hover your username to find it) summarizing the tier of each of your servers, plus this dev log to follow new releases as they ship.
August 1, 2026
- Animated (GIF) directory banners are now reserved for the PRO and ULTRA tiers, with the Pricing page updated accordingly.
- New live preview of your directory listing directly inside the Promotion module, so you can see the result before publishing.
- New role rewards by invite milestone (Invites module) — the same idea as the leveling system, but for inviters.
- Fixed a rate-limiting (429) bug that could affect the directory display.
July 31, 2026
- New Privacy Policy page, and a redesigned Legal Notice page with much less scrolling.
- New emoji picker for Reaction Roles — no more needing to know Discord's technical emoji syntax.
- Fixed a bug that could slow down some Dashboard pages under heavy Discord API load.
- Full spelling and accent proofreading pass across the entire site.
